Why I Love Gift Giveaways and Contests

If you spend much time online, you are sure to encounter a “gift giveaway” or “enter to win” contest

And in case you have no idea what I’m talking about, I’ve linked an example of a Contest and Giveaway:

Now, my BFFs, while these are often touted as “great ways to build your list”…

And they can be…

But I want to talk about them for a different reason:

Beside the fact that I am a sucker for a freebie…

I like giveaways because they are a quick way for me to “people shop” online.

You see, I am always interested in expanding my horizons…

And finding new people to connect with…

And freebie shopping is a quick way for me to find people I am aligned with…

or maybe even services that I need!

But contests really get me excited.

Because I love the idea of WINNING…

and because what is offered as part of an “enter to win” contest is usually much more valuable than anything offered in a “giveaway”.
